Benefitax is a member of the AHK Israel (German-Israeli Chamber of Commerce Abroad) in Tel Aviv, the official representation of the German economy. This serves to maintain and improve bilateral trade relations and investments between Israel and Germany. Our Israeli clients use the Israel Desk primarily as a coordinator and intermediary and as a central point of contact for all kinds of questions. Our managing director Oliver Biernat<\/a> is primarily responsible for this. In addition, all our employees speak English. We support Israeli companies that want to establish or expand their business in Germany. And we can take care of the entire financial compliance<\/a> process on request.<\/p>

Mr. Biernat occasionally visits our clients and cooperation partners in Israel or participates in conferences there. In 2019, GGI<\/a> ‘s International Tax Law practice group, which he has headed since 2008, held a conference with over 40 tax experts in Tel Aviv.
He has also traveled to Israel several times in his private life and was thrilled by the view from Mount Carmel in Haifa, the wineries in the Golan Heights, swimming in the Dead Sea, the view over Jerusalem or his favorite jogging route from Tel Aviv to Jaffa along the sea.<\/p>

In 2024, he will give online lectures to Israeli companies on topics such as “Why should you build up a second foothold in Germany? Introduction in the legal and tax framework of setting-up and running a company in Germany”. These are usually organized by the AHK Israel<\/a> or the Israel Export Institute<\/a>. Annabelle Ganapol<\/a>, a partner and lawyer at our cooperation partner Ferox Legal, will be responsible for the legal part. Israeli companies are generally very successful in Germany because they offer innovative products and adapt quickly. Compliance<\/a> and answering questions quickly and correctly is extremely important to them. The financial data of the German unit must be regularly transferred to Group controlling.
