How to become a client of Benefitax

If you want to become a client of Benefitax, there are a few things to clarify in advance:

  • What are your needs and is this included in our range of services?
  • Do we have enough time?
  • Are there any deadlines to be observed?
  • How much time is likely to be involved and how much do you estimate the fees will be?

In order to be best prepared for the tasks for you or your company and to comply with all legal regulations, a few steps are necessary, which we present to you here.

The easiest and quickest way to contact us is by e-mail to info@benefitax.de. Give us a brief description of who you are (private individual or company), where you come from (country) and what you are interested in, what services you need and what you think we should know.

You will receive initial information

We will contact you within a few days and let you know whether we can work for you. We may ask you a few questions or give you an initial estimate of the work involved. You will receive information about Benefitax, our conditions and billing modalities. If you would like to engage us for financial accounting, wages and/or annual financial statements, you will receive a questionnaire. Once you have completed this and returned it to us, we can provide you with a more precise estimate of the fees you can expect.

We get to know each other

If our estimate and conditions suit you, we will arrange an appointment with you for an initial meeting. This usually takes place via Teams. We can answer your questions about Benefitax, talk about the potential assignment and agree on how to proceed. For liability reasons, we will not provide any advice at this stage.

Formalities are (unfortunately) also important

If you decide to become a client of ours, we will carry out a so-called money laundering check. We are obliged to do this by law. You will receive a questionnaire from us, which you should complete and return with the documents requested. If you have any questions, we will be happy to assist you. We must then identify you (or the legal representative of your company) personally. This takes place in a short video call lasting a maximum of 5 minutes. We conclude a mandate agreement

Once the money laundering check has been completed, we draw up a written mandate agreement on the basis of our discussions and assessment and prepare the necessary powers of attorney so that we can represent you before the authorities. You will receive all documents for review and signature. As a rule, we will also send you a request for payment of a security deposit.
